The Wedding Gifts Direct African Dream Honeymoon Competition - Terms & Conditions
The Promoter of this competition is Wedding Gifts Direct Pty Ltd (ABN 37 107 851 810) of 479 Darling Street, Balmain Sydney NSW 2041.
Entry is open to Australian residents who are eighteen years of age or older. Entrants are required to provide their full name, contact telephone
number, email and postal addresses. By registering to enter the competition, entrants confirm they have accepted these terms & conditions and they
have bona fide agreed to marry. When completing the registration form, entrants are required to answer all questions and provide all the necessary
information to the best of their ability. Incomplete/illegible/incorrectly completed entry forms will automatically be disqualified and excluded. More
than one entry per wedding couple is not permitted. Directors, management and staff of Wedding Gifts Direct Pty Ltd may not enter.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of
residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry
process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
The competition is a game of skill and the winning couple will be judged on the content, creativity and originality of their answer to the qualifying
question on the registration form. Chance plays no part in determining the winners. The Promoter's decision is final and no further
correspondence/communication will be entered into once the winning couple has been announced.
The prize winning couple of the "Win an African Dream Honeymoon" competition from Wedding Gifts Direct will be announced at the Wedding Gifts Direct
showroom in Balmain at midday on 15th May 2013. The prize must be claimed by the winners within 10 working days of the announcement of such
winners, failing which they will be disqualified and a new winning couple will be announced. To qualify for entry into the competition, couples must
both register and activate their wedding registry with Wedding Gifts Direct before 24h00 EST on 30th April 2013. A wedding registry with
Wedding Gifts Direct will be deemed active once gifts (excluding Wishing Well contributions) to the value of at least AU$975 have been purchased by
guests from the relevant wedding registry's list. Should the winning couple of the competition not have an active registry with Wedding Gifts Direct by
24h00 on 30th April 2013, they will automatically be disqualified from the competition and will forfeit the prize. A new winning couple will
then be declared.
Competition entries will be accepted from 01h00 EST on Friday 20th April 2012 and the competition will close at 24h00 EST on 30th April 2013. The
winners will be notified by email and/or telephone. The winners names will be posted on the weddinggiftsdirect.com.au website and various other
websites/social media sites/press releases, as decided on by Wedding Gifts Direct. The prize will be handed over by Wedding Gifts Direct to the winners
at the Wedding Gifts Direct Balmain showroom at a time suitable to both parties. Wedding Gifts Direct may at their discretion photograph the handover,
which photographs may be posted on their website and other social media and included in another other advertising/press releases and promotional
material from time to time.
All entries become the property of the Promoter and may be retained for up to 24 months. At entries will be entered into a database and may be used for
future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes.
The winning couple must provide proof acceptable to Wedding Gifts Direct that they are bona fide getting married or have married within the period
of the competition in order to be eligible to win the prize. If this proof is not provided within 7 days of the request they will automatically be
disqualified and a new winning couple will be announced.
The prize is valued at US$25,000 and is not redeemable for cash, is not refundable, exchangeable and/or transferable. The honeymoon prize must be taken
before 30 April 2014 and no compensation will be paid if the winners are unable to use the prize as described within the time allowed. The prize does
not include any ancillary costs which are at the prize winners own expense. The Terms and Conditions of the various service providers included in the
prize must be adhered to and Wedding Gifts Direct cannot be held liable for any costs incurred by the winning couple in so doing.
Wedding Gifts Direct does not warrant the performance of any of the service providers included in the prize and cannot be held liable for their
failure to perform in any way.
In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion,
subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
Travel insurance is not included in the prize, however is strongly recommended. The successful applicants release the Promoter from any and all causes
of action, losses, liability, damage, expense (including legal expenses) cost or charge suffered, sustained or in any way incurred by the winners as a
result of any loss or damage to any physical property of the winner/s, or any injury to or death of any person arising out of, or related to, or in any
way connected with the Promoter or the promotion. Any costs associated with change of flight details are the responsibility of the prize winner/s.

The Prize cannot be utilized over peak periods (20 December 2012- 15 January 2013, Easter 2013 - 29 March - 1 April 2013). All accommodation and

Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including
negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising
in any way out of this Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment
malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim
that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable
control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or
