Our selection of brands and products is almost endless. You can choose from a vast selection of gifts in our specialty showroom, as well as peruse our library of catalogues and brochures from our local and international suppliers. Should there be something we do not offer, we would be delighted to source it for you.
Fees and Charges
Our service is completely free, and you will enjoy the superior service of the finest wedding registry in Australia with our expertise on hand to assist you every step of the way as you progress with your registry. There are no hidden costs, and all of our prices are at Recommended Retail Prices or below.
If you should decide to have a Wishing Well, there is a low $39 Establishment Fee, which is waived if you have a combination of gifts and a Wishing Well (see Wishing Well section for details).
Your Guests
Telling your guests about your registry with Wedding Gifts Direct is easy and subtle. We supply you with discreetly worded inserts for inclusion with your wedding invitations.
Alternatively you may decide to include a few sentences in your invitation informing your guests of your gift registry with Wedding Gifts Direct.
What will your guests pay?
The only thing your guests will pay is for the gift that they are purchasing for you. That’s right, we do not charge your guests for delivery, as we will deliver your lovely gifts to any Australian address absolutely free! All of our prices are at Recommended Retail Prices or below, and are in line with the major department stores. Your guests will also benefit from our Price Promise as we will match or beat any Myer, David Jones or specialist bridal registry’s listed non-sale prices!
If you would like to have your items gift wrapped, a low $3.50 gift wrapping charge will be added to the purchase for each guest.
If you have a Wishing Well set up, a $8.95 transaction fee will be charged to each guest to cover all bank charges which includes payment by credit card as well as to have the funds held in a secure account. A number of other wedding registries and contributions companies do not disclose this cost upfront to you.

Purchasing gifts can be done easily and quickly on our secure website. If guests prefer to see the gift they are purchasing, they are welcome to visit us in our beautiful showroom at their convenience, or ask for a colour print-out of the registry to be posted to them.
Our gifts are beautifully wrapped and delivered at a time chosen by the couple.
Pricing Policy
All gifts are sold at recommended retail prices or below. Your guests will be offered your gift list at these prices together with FREE DELIVERY, and the lowest Gift Wrapping charge available!! The major department stores charge between $12.95 and $20 for this service.
A special 20% discount is available to your family members when they purchase a dinnerware or cutlery gift for you valued above $300!!
In addition, a special Lifetime Discount of 20% is available to our couples on the completion of their list, excluding already discounted, electrical and electronic products. Contact us for further information on this offer.
Keeping Updated
The Couple’s Login to our website is available for you to view as well as add to or amend your gift list whenever you want.
Delivery & Storage
After your wedding you will receive a full report on your gift registry, making your thank-you card writing easy.
You have the opportunity to purchase remaining items using your 20% discount (excludes electrical and electronic products), or exchange items you may have changed your mind on.
Many couples need storage for an extended period or shipping interstate or overseas. We would be happy to arrange this for you.
