Ecology has a philosophy that their products are produced after every aspect of the product development and manufactur process has been considered in order to reduce the environmental impact of the products and packaging used in everyday life. For example: use of sustainalbe forestry, type of energy used during manufacturing, reducing Carbon Footprint, recyclability of products and packaging, new technology to reduce carbon emissions & use of biodegradable materials.
Corban & Blair pay carbon credits on all their New Zealand made plantation grown timber frames. No old growth forests are used in their manufacture and the carbon offsets initially go into land preservation in Western Australia. Corban & Blair also sponsor a child in PLAN, a school in Tanzania and support the arts, schools, education and mentor and work with Indigenous artists.
GreenPan uses a non-stick material called Thermolon which contains absolutely no PTFE and no silicone oil. Manufactured PFOA-free and applied in an environmentally friendly way resulting in 60% less CO2 emissions! Most of the raw materials GreenPan uses are recycled.

Our complimentary invitation inserts are printed by Robert Burtons - a green printing and packaging company with an eco-friendly outlook on printing. They are implementing eco-friendly initiatives to reduce their carbon emissions and strive to become a carbon neutral company.
Couples have the option to not have their gifts wrapped (and thereby reduce paper wastage) when they are delivered. The money that would have gone to gift wrapping will instead be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
