We support environmentally & socially conscious brands:

Ecology's philosophy is that their products are produced after every aspect of the product development and manufacturing process has been considered in order to reduce the environmental impact of the products and the packaging used in everyday life. For example: use of sustainalbe forestry, type of energy used during manufacturing, reducing Carbon Footprint, recyclability of products and packaging, new technology to reduce carbon emissions & use of biodegradable materials.

Corban & Blair pay carbon credits on all their New Zealand made plantation grown timber frames.  No old growth forests are used in their manufacture and the carbon offsets initially go into land preservation in Western Australia. Corban & Blair also sponsor a child in PLAN, a school in Tanzania and support the arts, schools, education and mentor and work with Indigenous artists.

GreenPan uses a non-stick material called Thermolon which contains absolutely no PTFE and no silicone oil. Manufactured PFOA-free and applied in an environmentally friendly way resulting in 60% less CO2 emissions! Most of the raw materials GreenPan uses are recycled.

Bas Phillips products are produced in several of the most highly mechanized and advanced mills in Egypt. The dyes are totally free of any azo dye, chlorinated phenols, (PCP, PCB and TCP) and formaldehyde components. Their mills have the highest grading Ecological and ISO certificates, which indicate that the dyestuffs and pigments meet the highest standard of International requirements, and pass the Oeko – Tex standard 100.

Villeroy & Boch focus their ecological commitment through process-integrated environmental protection, environmentally friendly products and environment-related research projects. The emphasis is laid on the improvement of the energy and raw material efficiency, the resource protection by improving the production process, above all, the reduction of the wastewater load and the emission of CO2 in all steps of the process.

ecoLinen uses 100% certified organic cotton which is independently surveyed and quality assessed with strict criteria met to qualify for certification. It is free from the toxic dyes and insecticides used in conventional cotton production.

Dandi make their bamboo range from sustainable Moso Bamboo.

Scanpan manufacture their Professional Series bases from squeeze cast recycled aluminium for a cleaner environment. And their chopping boards are made from environmentally friendly beechwood.

Jam Store makes their laundry hampers from environmentally friendly natural materials.

Suck UK's Solar Jars are highly efficient solar cells with a rechargeable battery and low energy LED lamps. The perfect way to conserve energy indoors and out!

Our complimentary invitation inserts are printed by Robert Burtons - a printing and packaging company with an eco-friendly outlook. They are implementing eco-friendly initiatives to reduce their carbon emissions and strive to become a carbon neutral company.

We recommend that couples not have their gifts wrapped and thereby reduce their paper wastage when they are delivered. We will also donate the money that would usually go towards your gift wrapping to the National Breast Cancer Foundation!
